Jill White Exhibition
Images
Jill White joined the Max Dupain Studio after leaving school in 1958.
After a couple of years working, she left to marry and moved to Fiji where she
lived for ten years. Returning
in 1970 she resumed her work in the studio.
Jill gradually expanded her duties by taking on much of the portrait
work for the studio. After 1975, much of her time was administering the
ever increasing demand for Max Dupain's exhibition work.
Twenty-three years on, and after Max's death in 1992, Jill formed her own
photographic business though continuing to be involved with the Max Dupain &
Associates studio.
With the Max Dupain Exhibition Negative Archive bequeathed to her by Dupain, Jill
fulfilled his wishes by printing, exhibiting and publishing from selected negatives.
At the same time she continued to produce her own work - mainly non-commercial
photography for exhibition and sale.
The images beneath and on subsequent gallery pages provide an overview of her
work. Other images that span her work since the 1970s can be viewed by
